ABOUT THE GAME

Project Tempur is an exhilarating 2.5D beat 'em up game that combines the art of Silat with a gripping storyline centered around the quest for the Legendary Kiris. As a member of a skilled fighter, it is your mission to navigate the vibrant streets of Pasar Seni and engage in thrilling battles against formidable gang members, all in an effort to assist your friend in uncovering the secrets of the legendary weapon.

Developed as the crowning achievement of our final year project, Team Leftovers, comprised of two talented designers, two artists, and one programmer, poured their passion and expertise into crafting this captivating game.

MY ROLE

During the course of 6 months, I had the privilege of being involved in the development of this game. In the initial three months, I collaborated closely with the programmer, contributing to the implementation of game mechanics in Unity and gaining valuable insights from his expertise. However, after realizing that the game design was not progressing as intended under the assigned game designer, I took the initiative to step up as the lead game designer.

Assuming this role, I took charge of the entire team, fostering collaboration and cohesion to ensure a collective effort in bringing the game to fruition. This encompassed overseeing the project's management, including timelines, task allocation, and the creation of comprehensive game design documents. Additionally, I actively contributed to the Unity development process, specifically focusing on level design and integrating the 3D models provided by the artist. Despite not achieving our initial vision, we were able to create a game with captivating pixelated visuals.

Moving forward, we recognize the areas that require improvement, and we are committed to refining and enhancing the game in the future. Our collective efforts and dedication to this project have laid the foundation for further advancements, and we are determined to continue working towards our goals, ensuring a more fulfilling and successful outcome.
