THE GAME JAM
This Game was a submission for Lv. 99 Game Jam 2023. A Game Jam for 10 days long, where we stayed one weekend, 48hours with the team at APU University. There were 5 of us in the group. We were not able to execute the game properly at the end of the game jam, but we have learned so much from this game. We will be continuoing to make this game, as we planned it to be like.

Welcome to Arctic Survival - take a deep breath and dive into the frozen depths of Antarctica to embark on an exciting underwater adventure! You play as a brave penguin on a mission to save your colony by finding a magical plant that can save their lives.

Explore a beautiful and immersive underwater world filled with majestic orcas, playful dusky dolphins, and fascinating deep-sea creatures like the Bathyteuthida. However, danger lurks around every corner, from explosive underwater volcanoes to deadly jellyfish and hungry sharks. Manage your oxygen supply by collecting bubbles, catch food fishes to maintain your stamina, and be prepared to face any challenges that come your way.

MY ROLE
As a game designer, i came up with the game idea as well as the mechanics with my groupmates, after delegating the task, i was in charge of researching. And figuring out how we can show the underwater. After doing my research, I used Unity Terrain Systm to make the underwater terrain for the game. After I made it, then I took screenshots and using Figma, made a infromative map of the game with picture refernces for the Artsist and programmers, to know where everthing is placed at.
